About Taylor Mullen
Taylor Mullen didn’t set out to build a metals company. After college, he spent two years working for a larger operation in the industry, learning the business from the inside. When COVID hit and he was laid off, he made a decision a lot of people wouldn’t: he kept a few key business relationships, scraped together $1,000, and bet on himself.
He started small, buying and selling scrap metal out of the Houston area, building a reputation one deal at a time. As customers kept calling and word spread, the business grew. Pipe came next, then tubulars, then full site cleanouts. What started as a one-man operation with a thousand dollars has grown into one of the Gulf Coast’s most reliable sources for surplus pipe, scrap metal, and industrial cleanout services.
Taylor still handles every deal personally. No waiting around for approvals, no getting passed off to someone else. Just a straight answer, a fair price, and a fast turnaround. That’s been the formula since day one, and it’s not changing anytime soon.
